Another fabulous buy in the Tampa Bay area: Tarpon Springs, Florida

By Tampa Bay Home Buyer Team, April 2, 2009

Tarpon Springs is known for its sponge docks but some people don’t know that Tarpon Springs has not one but two amazing beaches:

Sunset Beach and Fred Howard Park

Of course being from Hawai’i I (Lana Robbins) LOVE being near the water but sometimes I also enjoy strolling through small towns or eating at local restaurants. In Tarpon Springs it is one of those small towns that has grown while retaining its small town charms. It offers some great restaurants including but not limited to Greek restaurants. Sometimes it amazes me how fortunate I am to be able to enjoy Tarpon Springs and beaches throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Another gem is the Pinellas Trail which is another of the Tampa Bay area’s best-kept secret which I think makes the Tampa Bay area an awesome place to live.

Some times I can be seeing riding my bike on the Pinellas Trail with my husband. In the future I will post some pictures because for those fortunate to have enjoyed the Pinellas Trail there is a park that you can stop in and have a picnic and a primate sanctuary along the way too. You can ride from Tarpon Springs to Dunedin or anywhere in between. Or if you prefer you can jog along it or rollerblade. It is amazing so of course I like to tell others what the Pinellas Trail has to offer.

We currently have a listing located close to both beaches and that is less than a 10-minute drive to downtown Tarpon Springs and close to the Pinellas Trail so of course to me this home is one of those kinds of gems.

It is located at 30 Glades Avenue and looks like this:

This 1,847 heated square feet home was built in 1996, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an amazing location with a huge deck in the back. It does not end there: It includes a central vacuum system AND a water conditioning/softener system that were installed in January 2007 and an air conditioning unit that was installed in June 2008.

The listing price is $279,000 and as you know home prices are negotiable so if you or someone you know is looking to buy in Tarpon Springs or anywhere in the Tampa Bay area please feel free to contact us.
