Florida’s home sales were on the rise in December 2008

By Tampa Bay Home Buyer Team, March 11, 2009

Some newspapers and news stations give a gloom and doom outlook about housing but everyone needs a place to live so they either buy or they rent.

According to the Florida Association of Realtors based on a year-to-year comparison in December 2008 existing home sales rose 27%  compared to December 2007.

There was also a 12% increase in statewide sales of existing condominiums:

Of course many newspapers and television stations do not cover this and instead seem to accentuate the negative. However like the adage goes… everyone needs to live somewhere so they either rent… or they buy.
